EO Welcomes Latest Round of Approved Assessors

Equitable Origin is proud to announce that our approved assessors: Impact Resolutions, GLJ PC, Sustrio ESG, and Acorn International, have further expanded their Approved EO Assessment Teams.

Congratulations to everyone who has completed the latest round of EO100 Assessor Training and joined our growing list of approved assessors!

There are currently 60 approved assessors from 15 different assessment bodies across the US and Canada. See the full list of assessment bodies here.

The EO100™ Program Assistant will support the EO100™ Standard and Certification Program by managing certification processes, engaging energy producers, and developing communications materials. Qualifications include experience in the oil and gas sector, strong organizational skills, bilingualism in English and Spanish, and a passion for Indigenous rights and energy transition. EO100 Technical Supplements for Wind and Solar Energy Development Projects Released

EO100 Technical Supplement, EO100.5: Wind

The supplements for onshore wind and solar development are the result of an extensive multi-stakeholder development effort led by an expert Technical Committee and complemented by stakeholder outreach. The draft Supplements underwent a 75-day public comment period after which the feedback was incorporated and the revised draft was finalized by the Technical Committee.

EO100 Technical Supplement, EO100.4: Solar

All energy infrastructure projects come with a variety of positive benefits, negative impacts, and can generate opposition. EO's new supplements include additional requirements to address industry-specific challenges and opportunities in support of maximizing the accountability, equity, and sustainability of projects. This includes supply chain risk management, environmental best practices, stakeholder collaboration, Indigenous rights, and benefit sharing.
