Jon McClurg

Mr. Jon McClurg has 22 years of project management and consulting experience, particularly to the energy industry. He has managed project teams of up to 15 technical persons providing consulting to the energy industry and U.S. government. His consulting clients have included the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, BP, Kerr-McGee, BG, Enron, Marathon, and others. Jon’s recent project experience includes remediation of an oil shale retort/refinery site, environmental impact assessments for oil and gas projects in Oman, Yemen, Peru and Albania, environmental impact assessments for mining projects in Mexico, and a review of oil and gas environmental issues and regulations in Brazil. For the power and renewable energy industries, Jon has managed audits of wind farms, hydroelectric plants, power plants, and transmission facilities in Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Peru. He has extensive experience in working with GIS and remote sensing specialists to analyze large oil and gas lease blocks, power transmission rights of way, wind farms, and other projects.
