The independent podcast series What Now examines the world's most pressing social and environmental problems through interviews with the innovative people trying to solve them. EO's President and Co-Founder David Poritz talked with What Now's host Ken Rose last week, and the product is the December 30th episode of the podcast, available for streaming on the What Now website and for download from iTunes.
Rose requested an interview with Poritz after attending the Amherst, Massachusetts screening of "Oil and Water." The in-depth interview covers many topics related to Equitable Origin's work, including the company's challenging position in the "middle" of the debate over oil and gas development, between environmentalists and industry. Bringing the interests of those two groups together, Poritz explains, is a one of EO's central goals: "We define our work by cooperation and by creating common ground."
The interview took place at the Amherst Media studio in Poritz's home town of Amherst.
