Metztli Hernández García
Mexico Resource Hub Program Coordinator
Metztli became part of Equitable Origin in 2022 as the Head of the Resource Hub in México. With a BS and Masters's Degree in Social Anthropology, and a minor in Environmental Education, she specializes in Land-related affairs. She has collaborated with private and public institutions to develop territorial and spatial planning, Social Impact Assessments (SIA), and Stakeholder Engagement.
Before joining Equitable Origin, Metztli worked in the archeological site El Tajín and the Public Space and Heritage committee in México City. Due to these experiences, she became concerned in natural and intangible heritage conservation, which soon became her area of expertise. Currently, she aims to uphold gender equality and community development within rural and indigenous communities in México.
