Of Mexican origin, Bryan is a professional and activist committed to community organizational processes seeking the protection of human rights and territories, respecting different perspectives, listening, and sharing.
His work as a cartographer and popular educator in the development of participatory methodologies has allowed the integration of knowledge in different areas with an interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective, values traditional knowledge, and incorporates and adapts scientific and technological knowledge, collaborating hand in hand with the academia and with organizations mainly from Chiapas, Puebla, Campeche, and Yucatán, being a member of various networks in defense, e of the territory of Abya Yala.
Bryan studied for a degree in Territorial Planning and a master's degree in Rural Development at the University Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco. Participating for more than four years in the Interdisciplinary Research Program in Human Development at the same institution.
